Approved aircraft maintenance programme

-

THERE has been a growing demand for aircraft maintenance workers as more people travel around the world by air. Several studies and reports have stated that Malaysia requires over 32,000 skilled aircraft maintenance workers. The same sets of studies also indicate that the world will need over 243,500 aircraft maintenance workers over the next five years.

To answer this demand, Allied Aeronautics Training Centre (AATC or Allied), an Approved Training Organisation under the Department of Civil Aviation Malaysia, is currently offering a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Programme DCAM Part-66 Category A1 to meet industry demands. The two-plus-one-year programme is said to be specifically designed and strategically aligned to current market drivers and needs of the commercial aircraft Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul requirements, locally, regionally and globally.

Prospective students will be happy to know that Allied is situated in Ara Damansara, ideally located next to the Subang Airport and several transportation and accommodation facilities. Minimum entry requirements are SPM/STPM.

SPM leavers with minimum credit in English are encouraged to apply and be secured with a degree of employability that leads toward a career path in becoming an engineer. Programme students can put in a request to reside at the institution’s hostel during their course of study. For more information, visit Allied’s website.
