MEIZU, the world’s 11th bestselling phone maker in 2016, recently debuted two new smartphones and named an exclusive distributor for those phones in Malaysia.

The smartphones feature premium quality build and specifications with an affordable price tag.

Designed for those who are looking for the best value for their money and students, the Meizu M5 Note goes for less than RM900, and comes with a 5.5in full HD screen with a beautiful full metal design and curved glass edges.

Its processor is touted as a 64-bit octa-core chip running at 1.8GHz coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage.

One of the main features of the M5 Note is its 4000mAh battery. It could outlast most phones on a full day of use but only takes 90 minutes to fully charge.

The Meizu M5 Note also sports a 13MP rearfacing camera, 5MP frontfacing camera, and a fingerprint scanner.

However, the champion of the launch is the Meizu Pro 6 Plus.

At a little less than RM2,000, this smartphone promises high-end features in a package that is masterfully crafted.

Within its metal unibody design is an Exynos 8890 octa-core processor running at 2GHz which is a Samsung chipset. With it comes 4GB of RAM and 128GB of nonexpandable storage. But, the premium features does

not end there. The display for the Pro 6 Plus is a 5.7in Samsung Super Amoled with Quad HD 2K resolution. Below it is a high-speed thumbprint reader that also functions as a home and navigation button, with a navigation feature Meizu dubs as mBack.

Meizu, through its custom Android-based mobile operating system Flyme, also includes artificial intelligence-based performance adjustment systems, and contentdriven on-screen design.

The Pro 6 Plus did not cut corners on the camera either. It uses a Sony IMX386 CMOS with four-axis OIS as its main camera and fitted it with an f2.0 lens and paired it with PDAF, laser focus, and a 10LED circular flash for added speed. Both phones are now available at retail stores and are exclusively distributed by Dynamics Distribution.
