SHAH ALAM: Two retired Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) personnel pleaded not guilty in the sessions court here yesterday to a charge of accepting a RM600,000 bribe six years ago.

Lt Col (Rtd) Kamal Baharin Nali, 48, and Capt (Rtd) Fadzil Noor Alias, 38, allegedly accepted the amount from ARG Tech Sdn Bhd owner Ab Rahim Ghalim through his lawyer Wan Ahmad Idzham Wan Sulaiman in the form of two Affinbank cheques.

The money was allegedly an inducement to help facilitate payments due to Ab Rahim amounting to RM14.5 million for 52 invoices involving contract works.

The accused allegedly committed the offence at ARG Tech Sdn Bhd located at Section 8, Bandar Baru Bangi, on Dec 14, 2011.
