The collaboration will bring a great deal of convenience and information to consumers who are: looking for inspiration in real estate; investment destinations; moving for work or education; wanting to start a portfolio; and simply thinking about buying a property. What consumers can look forward to is access to more than 4.5 million property listings from 72 countries – the world’s largest property listings data base. Buyers and sellers can now connect across borders and property seekers are able to view global listings, translated in their respective local currency and language.

GLOBAL OPPORTUNITIES

Said Housing.com, PropTiger. com and Makaan.com CEO Dhruv Agarwala on the development: “There has been a growing appetite for overseas property investment into the Asian market, including India. At the same time, Indians now aspire to own property in international locations. We are confident that this collaboration will open a world of possibilities and benefit end consumers and business partners alike.”

REA Group’s CEO for Asia Henry Ruiz (pix) couldn’t have been more delighted on the tie-up. “Having a network of property portals come together on one platform you know and trust, and providing the opportunity to explore these listings outside of one’s home country – we wanted to provide the people with this opportunity,” he said.
