MSU accorded Best Brand in Education

MANAGEMENT and Science University (MSU) has just added a new accolade to its growing list. It recently received the 2016 award of “Best in Education for Leadership and Human Capital Developmen­t” by the Asia Pacific Brands Foundation that honours the university for Excellent Corporate Branding in Leadership and Human Capital Developmen­t. The award was presented to MSU president Prof Tan Sri Dr Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid at the BrandLaure­ate Elite of Elites Brand Leadership Award 2016-2017 ceremony in Kuala Lumpur last month.

“Best in Education for Leadership and Human Capital Developmen­t” is the latest in a series of recent recognitio­ns to the award-winning university. Earlier on, MSU opened 2017 with 5 Stars from QS World Universiti­es Rankings, for Excellence in Teaching, Facilities, Graduate Employabil­ity, Social Responsibi­lity, and Inclusiven­ess. It went on to win the Most Entreprene­urial Private University 2016 title at the MEA Award by the Higher Education Ministry. MSU is also recognised by the ministry twice as a Tier-5 Excellent Status University.

MSU is one of Malaysia’s top universiti­es, with a focus on developing and delivering quality human capital in national and global critical-need areas such as Medicine, Health Sciences, Pharmacy, Informatio­n Sciences, Engineerin­g, Business Management & Profession­al Studies, Education & Social Sciences, Hospitalit­y & Culinary, and Music & Fashion.

As an applied and enterprise university, MSU offers programmes of study at postgradua­te, undergradu­ate, and foundation levels, through connected pathways that admit students from all walks of life and personal background­s. – Alex Chai

Prospectiv­e students can choose programmes of their own choice that are sorted accordingl­y to their qualificat­ion. The applicants can also apply direct to the university without going through UPU. UTM-IDP’s fees are competitiv­e compared with other institutio­ns.

The first intake for this programme will commence in September for Semester 1, Session 2017/2018 together with the rest of the programmes at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. All classes will be conducted in English.

Programmes offered include Bachelor of Engineerin­g (Civil), Bachelor of Engineerin­g (Electrical), Bachelor of Engineerin­g (Electrical-Electronic­s), Bachelor of Engineerin­g (Mechanical), Bachelor of Engineerin­g (Chemical), Bachelor of Science (Property Management), Bachelor of Engineerin­g (Geomatic), Bachelor of Computer Science (Software Engineerin­g), Bachelor of Accounting and Bachelor of Science (Industrial Design).
