Woman cheated by Casanova

KUALA LUMPUR: A woman has claimed she was cheated of more than RM20,000 after falling for a sweet-talking Casanova she met at an online messaging application.

The 37-year-old woman, who wanted to be known as Linda, yesterday told a press conference at the MCA Public Service and Complaints Department that the Casanova, a 33-year-old man known as Vick, has been on the prowl on the online app WeChat.

She had lodged two police reports against him.
