Special discounts at MAPS
IPOH: It is all systems go as Movie Animation Park Studios (MAPS), the first animation theme park in Asia located in Bandar Meru Raya, is set to open for business on the second day of Hari Raya.
As part of the opening, MAPS has launched a Hari Raya ticket promotion, which will go on until July 1. Tickets bought during this period can be utilised from opening day on June 26 to July 2.
A special discount will also be given when visitors buy tickets, priced at RM131 for adults and RM104 for children.
Visitors who spend RM600 on tickets in a single receipt will be presented with a “Smurf” hat while those who spend RM1,000 will receive two hats.
These special ticket rates are available at the Aeon Kinta City and Aeon Klebang road shows.
The MAPS management will also go on road shows/trade shows at major shopping malls to sell the tickets, apart from counter sales on opening day and online purchases.
Some 49,000 people are expected to visit the park during the first week.

The theme park will also boost tourism in the state in line with Visit Perak Year 2017.
Built on a 20.8ha site at the cost of RM520 million, MAPS houses both international and homegrown intellectual properties, including DreamWorks characters
The park has more than 40 attractions in six themed zones with the tagline “Live Your Dreams”, namely Animation Square, Dream, Blast Off, Live Action, Lakeside and Fantasy Forest Zones.
