New degree

-

BEGINNING this August, the Advance Tertiary College (ATC) will provide the Bachelor of Science in Business and Management course by the University of London (UOL), an affordable international business degree.

Directed by the London School of Economics and Political Science, the threeyear course will cover a broad, but relevant range of subjects from Human Resource Management to Financial Management.

Considered an international centre of academic excellence and innovation, The London School of Economics and Political Science’s former students and faculty form a sizeable amount of Nobel winners, heads of state, and current members of the UK Houses of Parliament.

Thus by extension, students will find a boost in career opportunities, while UOL graduates are consistently sought after due for their versatility and leadership skills.

A partner at one of the world’s leading accounting and consulting firms, Grant Thornton, Ong Soo Ann claims that, “We find University of London graduates a good fit for our firm, Grant Thornton, as they are every employer’s dream of an employee, possessing the maturity, willingness to learn, independence, and being street smart; the exact full range of skills apart from technical proficiency needed by professionals.”

Not merely a brand, but also a seal of recognition, graduates of UOL are recognised by a wide range of organisations, with many attaining employment at law firms, multinational companies, and major professional service firms.

Other graduates continue on their higher education journey with the world’s best universities, namely Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, and the National University of Singapore.

The standardised system by the University of London allows students to relocate and continue their studies without a single hiccup due to the globally synchronised syllabus and examinations that make up the Bachelor of Science in Business and Management course, while diploma-holders keen on taking the course are eligible for exemptions, along with the professional and social benefits that come from being part of the University of London International Programme network. – Mark Mathen Victor
