an added convenience for owners to easily control the height and opening of the tailgate with the one-push button and “Stop” and “Hold” programmable height. This is another premium feature offered for the first time by Honda Malaysia.

A seven-inch advanced display audio that is Apple CarPlay and Android Autoready, seamless smart connectivity, entertainment and rear USB ports (for rear passengers) will add more enjoyment in the SUV, which also has dual-zone airconditioning. Drivers and passengers are seated on combi leather seats with an eightway power seat for driver and four-way power seat for front passenger – this is one of the new additional features in the all-new CR-V.

Electronic parking brake allows more space at the console area, while a large compartment in the console area can fit even a 13-inch laptop or a medium-sized handbag. With the Auto Brake Hold (ABH) feature, driving in congested traffic is less strenuous since with only a push of a button, the vehicle’s stationary position is held without the driver having to continuously step on the brake. In addition to Honda SENSING, the latest CR-V offers a host of safety features standard in all variants – six airbags, new thin-film-transistor (TFT) display and Driver Attention Monitor that assists drivers to stay vigilant during the drive through a combination of alerts and steering vibrations, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) with Agile Handling Assist (AHA), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), and multiangle rear-view camera. Other new features include “walk away” auto lock and eight sensors***. The top variants are further equipped with high-end features including Honda LaneWatch camera**, auto high beam** and active cornering light**.

In line with the government’s direction to turn Malaysia into a regional Energy Efficient Vehicles (EEV) hub, the all-new CR-V is the latest Honda Malaysia model to be certified an EEV***.

Prices without insurance (inclusive of GST) of the four variants are: 2.0L 2WD priced at RM142,400, 1.5L Turbocharged 2WD at RM155,700, 1.5L Turbocharged

4WD at RM161,600 and 1.5L Turbocharged Premium 2WD going for RM167,700.

Warranty for the all-new CR-V is maintained at five years with unlimited mileage at 10,000 km service intervals**** at any of the 91 Honda dealers nationwide.

Colour-wise, there are five options – Dark Olive Metallic (new colour for a Honda vehicle), while White Orchid Pearl and Obsidian Blue Pearl are brand-new colours. The popular Lunar Silver Metallic and Modern Steel Metallic from the previous generation have been maintained.
