MSU has also achieved Excellent Status University on the national university-rating system SETARA by the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE).

It fulfilled the highest global standards on the QS Stars in 2016 for Excellence for Teaching, Employabil­ity, Facilities, Social Responsibi­lity and Inclusiven­ess. It was crowned The Most Entreprene­urial Private University in 2016 by MoHE and is the first non-Japanese university accredited by the Alliance on Business Education & Scholarshi­p for Tomorrow (ABEST21).
