Video of road bully goes viral

-

SUBANG JAYA: A video clip of a road bullying incident in Subang Jaya has gone viral.

The four-and-half-minute video, taken from a dashboard camera of the victim, shows a green Myvi with a probation driving licence sticker, driving recklessly, cutting in and out of his lane multiple times and also jamming the brakes along the roads.

The incident took place at 1pm when the Myvi driver, who was tailgating the victim, switched to his left lane and made an attempt to cut queue.

The video shows the victim honking at the bully who is apparently annoyed and continues to harass the victim through several routes in Subang Jaya.

The bully is seen occasionally slamming on the brake, causing the victim to stop several times.

The victim then tries to escape to the next lane, but the bully does not give way, blocking the road.

The bully continues his action which eventually leads to a passer-by walking to the bully’s vehicle and telling the driver off.

The bully then drives away, and the video ends with the victim deciding to take another route to avoid a confrontation.

The video was shared by several Facebook users, causing an uproar among netizens.

It is not known if a police report has been lodged by the victim.

Subang Jaya district police chief ACP Mohammad Azlin Sadari said the incident was definitely a traffic offence.

“Rest assured with a police report, traffic personnel can identify the perpetrator involved.

“The bully’s action is reckless and it can cause an accident. Let it be a lesson once he is charged for his offence,” he said. –
