THE LATEST addition to the hospitality division of property-construction conglomerate Sunway Group is now open for booking. Sunway Hotels & Resorts’ newest mid-market hotel, the 351-room Sunway Velocity Hotel Kuala Lumpur, is scheduled to welcome its first guests on Sept 20.
In conjunction with the opening, the hotel is offering special introductory room rates, starting from RM198++ per room per night, valid for stays from Sept 20 itself.
Sunway Velocity Hotel is located within the heart of Sunway Velocity Kuala Lumpur.
This 23-acre (9.3ha) selfcontained integrated mixed development offers premier shopping, dining and entertainment to be found in Sunway Velocity Mall with its over 500 retail stores, 150 food and beverage outlets, as well as a host of entertainment centres and recreational facilities.
The development also include office towers, a medical centre (opening in 2018), serviced residences and a sprawling central park.
The hotel has direct links to two underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) stations that provide ease of access to nearby commercial hubs and local attractions within the city.
Kuala Lumpur City Centre is a mere 10-minute drive from the hotel, whereas the city’s international airports (KLIA and klia2) are only 45 minutes away.
Sunway Velocity Hotel features three categories of guestrooms – Superior, Superior Plus and Superior Premier.
Superior Premier is a spacious corner room that includes an additional settee that pulls out to a queen-size sofa bed, accommodating up to three adults in the room.
