Celebrate life with Kumar

SINGAPORE comedian Kumar has this advice for Malaysian fans: “If you are not ready to laugh at yourself, I think you are not ready to leave your house.”

As one of Southeast Asia’s most iconic and respected performing artistes, Kumar ( right) will be hitting the highways of Malaysia on a nationwide tour, with a show called Kumarsutra.

Proudly presented by LOL Events, Kumarsutra will see the comedian give a personalised perf or mance that will take the audience through a story about struggles and triumphs, all delivered with his trademark sense of humour.

The show tours seven cities in Malaysia – Ipoh, Penang, Malacca, Kuala Lumpur, Kota Kinabalu and Johor Baru, throughout September and October. With a career spanning some two decades, Kumar has proven to be a multitalented performer, entertaining millions as a comedian, TV host, actor, dancer, director and author.

Kumarsutra showcases all the elements that have made him famous.

Fusing together the traditional and modern aspects of performing arts that have been perfected over the years, Kumar brings you a show like none other, transcending across age, gender, and race.

Audiences will enjoy his sharp wit, whimsical storytelling, and the ability to find the funny in the most difficult situations.

Speaking about the show, Kumar said: “This show is meant to remind people to celebrate life. Laughter brings people together no matter what race, religion or colour of skin.

“We all have our paths which involve sadness, happiness, regrets and accomplishments. Let me share with you mine. You are never alone.”
