Career in animation

YPC International College is steadfast in its commitment to produce industry-ready students, in addition to its newly formed partnership with Inspidea Sdn Bhd. A memorandum of agreement (MoA) signed recently between YPC and Inspidea aims to interconnect learning with real-world experiences to enhance the employability of YPC’s multimedia students.

Inspidea is a Malaysian digital animation studio that creates, produces and distributes original animated shows for the television and mobile industries worldwide. The studio has worked with Cartoon Network, Disney, KidsCo, Astro, BBC, Nickelodeon and Animax. experience (commenced on Aug 15). Workshop and talks at Inspidea to help enhance knowledge and technical skills of students. Review of course content, which will see Inspidea personnel reviewing course content to ensure it is aligned and up to date with industrial practices, which will help reduce the skillgap of students with industry requirements.

The partnership will also expedite future collaborative programmes, such as public presentations on building a career in animation, interviews and drawing tests.

All these help identify suitable student candidates for internship placements and industrial visits to Inspidea.
