Tribute from Johor Sultanah
PETALING JAYA: The Johor Permaisuri has honoured the late Kedah Sultan Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah with a poem on her Facebook page.
Raja Zarith Sofiah Sultan Idris Shah posted the moving poem, which has been shared by the Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar on his official Facebook page.
Her poem tribute has been viewed and liked by over 2,000 people and shared by 142 people as of yesterday evening.
Raja Zarith Sofiah’s son Tunku Temenggong Johor Tunku Idris Ibni Sultan Ibrahim also paid tribute to the late Kedah Sultan on his Instagram.
He posted a black-and-white photo of Sultan Abdul Halim and offered his condolences to the Kedah royal family, stating that Malaysia had truly lost a great Sultan.
“You have been such a great role model to me, showing me that no matter how unwell or tired you feel on that day, duty comes first.
“My heart goes out to all rakyat Kedah,” he said.
