Japan loves Paris Fashion Week

-

PARIS Fashion Week is finally underway, and fashion fans all over the world are taking to Google to keep up with the news coming from the French capital.

Over the past seven days, the biggest interest in the event, aside from France itself, has come from Japan, Google Trends reports. Paris is also the most popular of “the big four” fashion weeks in countries including Indonesia, Malaysia, Iran, Egypt, Portugal and Morocco. Globally, the top five Paris Fashion Week-related questions typed into the online search engine include "How to get into Paris Fashion Week?" and, of course, "What to wear to Paris Fashion Week?"

In France, the event seems to have sparked interest in the modelling industry, with the number one fashion-related question being revealed as: "How to take your body measurements?" This was followed by: "How to become a model?"

In terms of the designers themselves, Louis Vuitton was the mostgoogled fashion house in France ahead of the last season's shows for Autumn/Winter 2017, Google has revealed. Chanel came in at number two, with Dior, Yves Saint Laurent and Armani making up the top five.
