Revisiting direction sectors

> Here is a quick explanation of these two important components in feng shui analysis used to tap into the most auspicious qi

IAM revisting the topic on direction and sectors because there appears to be some confusion over this. arrived at this conclusion based on the questions that people have asked, and continue to ask me on this subject.

Direction is extremely important in feng shui. Crucial directions include the facing direction of a property, the main door, a nearby mountain, or bodies of water.

The facing direction of a property is the direction perpendicular to the facade of the facing side of the property (when looking out).

The facing direction of the main door is the direction perpendicular to the plane of the door when opened.

In Diagram A, both the property and the main door face South. In Diagram B, the property faces South, but the main door faces West.

Mountain and water directions can be measured by referring to the main door of the property, depending on the system of feng shui that you practise.

Taking Diagram C as an example, it shows where we measure the direction of the mountain and water, with the main door as the reference.

In this example, the mountain is at SE2 while the water is at S3.

Inside the home, most feng shui systems will look at important amenities like the bed, study table, and stove.

Most systems measure the facing direction of the bed by referencing the direction that the crown of your head points towards.
