Entrepreneurial excellence

-

MANAGEMENT and Science University (MSU) has received yet another recognition of excellence through its President, Prof Tan Sri Dr Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid.

At the Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards (APEA), the region’s most prestigious awards ceremony showcasing entrepreneurial excellence, the recognition by Enterprise Asia announced Mohd Shukri as the Entrepreneur of the Year in the Education Industry.

He described the APEA award as a parallel recognition to the university as he accepted the award for his entrepreneurial leadership in providing equal access to education and the successful creation of an entrepreneur ecosystem in the university to incorporate well-roundedness into MSU graduates.

Under Mohd Shukri’s leadership, MSU rose from once humble beginnings over the last 35 years before emerging as the nation’s most popular choice for graduate employability rates among employers today.

Tracing those that were successful in securing an employment within six months of their graduation, the Ministry of Higher Education’s (MoHE) graduate tracer strategy study has traced 98.6% of MSU graduates with the achievement.

On the macro scale, MSU has also been recognised by MoHE as Malaysia’s Most Entrepreneurial Private University, and as the Best Brand in Education for Leadership in Human Capital Development by the Asia Pacific Brands Foundation.

MSU’s main campus is located in Shah Alam. For more information on MSU and its courses, visit www.msu.edu.my – Mark Mathen Victor
