AirAsia in-flight magazine soars with new look

-

SLEEK, contemporary, and packed with even more destinations, AirAsia’s award-winning in-flight magazine travel 3Sixty° recently unveiled a fresh new look for its October issue at the recent AirAsia’s Ten and Terrific event.

The new look coincided with the travel magazine’s 10th anniversary celebration this year.

Since its first issue in August 2007, travel 3Sixty° with its highlights on exciting locations and vibrant adventures, coupled with an insight into the arts, culture, and heritage of different countries have given readers an exclusive take on planning their next bucket-list holiday.

“The new look and feel makes the magazine more contemporary and sleek, following the latest trends and directions in the publishing industry,” said Datuk Kamaruddin Meranun, the executive chairman of AirAsia Bhd, Group CEO of AirAsia X, and travel 3Sixty° publisher.

“Apart from refreshing the presentation style ... it positions itself as a constantly evolving magazine that finds ways to satisfy the wanderlust in our readers.”

Featuring a new logo, layout, content, and overall branding, travel 3Sixty° has also switched to a more lightweight matte paper for improved fuel mileage, leading to better deals for the airline’s guests.

The in-flight magazine has also gone digital with the all-new travel3Sixty.com, which allows readers to make transactions for tour packages and activities conveniently through their mobile devices.

“As we move towards becoming a digital airline, we believe the time is right to bring even greater functionality and accessibility to travel3sixty.com, which will be the home for all our travel-related content, including a trip planner,” Kamarudin added.

Kamarudin was speaking at the Ten and Terrific event. Also present were travel 3Sixty° CEO Aaron Sarma, its regional managing editor R. Rajendra, as well as AirAsia X CEO Benyamin Ismail, travel platform Touristly chief strategy officer Ikhlas Kamarudin, and other top executives.

The event saw multiple booths offering goodies and promotions, including a stall from the National Cancer Council Malaysia (Makna), AirAsia’s in-flight meal provider Santan, and AirAsia Foundation, the company’s humanitarian effort through entrepreneurship.
