Don’t let pain slow you down

-

IMAGINE bone rubbing against bone in your knees as you walk. Even just the thought of it makes you shiver. If it sounds painful, it’s probably because it is.

Contrary to conventional wisdom, degeneration of the joints does not necessarily only affect your parents and grandparents.

Diseases that affect the joints, like arthritis, mean that you can suffer from stiff and often painful aches, beginning at any age.

One of the more common forms of arthritis that can strike while you’re younger is osteoarthritis.

Remember that image of bone rubbing against bone? This discomfort can be significantly decreased or delayed if the necessary precautions are taken.

While it is true that some wear and tear does happen as you age, the reason why osteoarthritis causes agony to the joints is due to the thinning of the flexible tissue (cartilage) that is suppose to protect your bones from rubbing against each other during movement – thus causing friction and pain.

Though it can attack any joint in your body, the knees, hands, hips, and back are the most susceptible, and being overweight is one factor that increases the chance of arthritis, owing to the added pressure.

While it is still unclear why, women are found to be more prone to osteoarthritis, besides those who regularly perform strenuous exercises especially when it results in repeated injury, and those who are geneticallypredisposed to the disease.

Once diagnosed with the condition, your joints will be subject to gradual damage, which from a scientific point of view, stems from a biochemical imbalance that produces joint-ageing enzymes called Matrix Metalloproteinases (MMPs).

High levels of MMPs can lead to inflammation, joint degeneration, and ultimately, impaired movement of the body.

This explains why a disruption of these enzymes, usually accelerated by high-intensity activities, can have an impact on joints even if you’re not a senior citizen.

Naturally, much focus has been placed on MMPs by pharmaceuticals hoping to tackle joint pain without nasty side effects like stomach ulcers.

One company noticed that communities in New Zealand suffering from arthritis were experiencing better mobility, and singled out their diet high in locallysourced green-lipped mussel as the cause.

Thus, Biolane was born. Produced with New Zealand green-lipped mussel, Biolane balances MMPs, while restoring damage to the joints like bone spurs, as well as boasting antioxidants and marine mineralhealing properties that help with inflammation.

Although glucosamine is often taken as a first resort to combat arthritis, it only helps to treat the symptoms and not the core of the problem, which is an imbalance of MMPs, hence, why Biolane is a preferred supplement.

Continual consumption of at least three months of the recommended dose will equip your body with the necessary substance to treat the root of the problem, with Biolane possessing a whopping 70% success rate.

With 40 years of research backing it, Biolane can be taken in tandem with painkillers during the initial stage before the benefits take effect, and has the added benefit of being stomach-friendly.

Biolane is renowned for its dedication to quality, safety, and effectiveness, even earning an award for ideal anti-arthritic agent from the Australian Centre for Complementary Research and Education (ACCMER) in 2005.

Prescribed in over 25 countries, Biolane Malaysia.
