A space to celebrate creativity
AS PART of its initiative to provide more art spaces in Kuala Lumpur, property developer EuGrow Holdings has collaborated with the National Art Gallery and Aswara to host some of its artists’ artworks at a new exhibition space called The Pod, launched last Friday.
Located on the 4th floor of Sunway Putra Mall, The Pod will be a creative space which functions as educational hub and an event venue all rolled into one.
“The Pod is an ever-changing space for human development, arts and culture,” said EuGrow managing director Cindy Chiew ( right).
“We look forward to collaborating with partners who share our vision to build events for the developments of the human body, mind and spirit.”
The walls of The Pod are currently a small art gallery, featuring selected pieces by young artists, which will also be available for sale. The pieces will be exhibited for three months, before making way for new works by other artists.
Aside from the art exhibition, The Pod has already lined up several interesting programmes, including public speaking seminars, Zumba dance classes, arts and crafts classes, and unplugged music sessions, for the future.
In fact, visitors to the launch of the art exhibition got a taste of The Pod’s Unplugged Music programme, which had its inaugural performance featuring local musician Man Bai.
“The Unplugged Music will be held on the last Friday of every month,” said Chiew.
The Pod is also available for booking to members of the public who wish to host their very own events and private functions.
