> Heineken, Tiger and Guinness awarded at Putra Brand Awards 2017

Abig sweep for Heineken Malaysia Berhad (Heineken Malaysia) who won three trophies at the recent Putra Brand Awards 2017. The Heineken brand, which was inducted into the Putra Brand Icon Hall of Fame in 2015, won gold, while Tiger received a silver and Guinness, a bronze.

Our wins show that our innovative strategies for various product brands have resonated very well with consumers,” said Heineken Malaysia managing director Hans Essaadi.

After sweeping three awards, the company’s marketing director Jiri Rakosnik shared that the team was not about to rest on their laurels. “We’re motivated by our splendid wins tonight ... It demonstrat­es the health of our iconic portfolio and effectiven­ess of our strategic execution.

“With passion for quality, Heineken Malaysia will continue to deliver creative campaigns that showcase the unique characters of our brands; so watch out for more exciting moments to come,” said Rakosnik. “There’s More Behind The Star”; Tiger’s “UncageMusi­c” platform which ended with “Urbanscape­s 2017”, the “#3890Tigers” movement and “Can you imagine a world without Tigers?” campaign; as well as Guinness’ biggest St Patrick’s Day celebratio­n, the launch of Guinness Bright and other significan­t efforts.

It will be the new year soon and another exciting one for the Heineken Malaysia team, “giving our consumers more occasions to celebrate and more reasons to love our brands,” Essaadi added.
