‘STOP RAISING RACIAL ISSUES’

KUALA TERENGGANU: All parties, especially online news portals, have been urged to stop publishing articles that raise racial issues. Deputy Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Seri Jailani Johari said the media are entrusted with the responsibility of safeguarding harmony and should not distort any issue that could cause public annoyance. He was referring to an article published by Malaysiakini yesterday on Terengganu police chief Datuk Aidi Ismail, who allegedly raised racial issues. – Bernama
