SUNCON JV SECURES WAREHOUSE JOB

PETALING JAYA: Sunway Construction Group Bhd’s (SunCon) joint venture (JV) with Japan-listed Taisen Corp has bagged a RM139.83 million contract for the construction of a new warehouse in Shah Alam for Nippon Express (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd. SunCon and Taisen own an equal stake in the unincorporated JV entity. SunCon told Bursa Malaysia the project is expected to be completed by third quarter of 2019. It is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings from the financial year ending Dec 31, 2018 onwards.
