APEX THIRD QUAR­TER BOT­TOM LINE UP 29%

PETALING JAYA: Apex Health­care Bhd’s net profit for the third quar­ter ended Sept 30, 2017 rose 29% to RM11.29 mil­lion from RM8.74 mil­lion a year ago in tan­dem with higher rev­enue. The group achieved rev­enue of RM157.73 mil­lion, a growth of 10.3% com­pared with RM142.96 mil­lion in third quar­ter of 2016, helped by stronger con­tri­bu­tions from the con­sumer prod­ucts di­vi­sion as well as phar­ma­ceu­ti­cal sales to the pub­lic sec­tor in Malaysia and Sin­ga­pore. For the nine months pe­riod, its net profit jumped 12% to RM31.66 mil­lion from RM28.2 mil­lion, en­abled by the rein­vest­ment al­lowance tax in­cen­tives. Its rev­enue was RM467.68 mil­lion, a growth of 7% com­pared with RM437.12 mil­lion in the same pe­riod.
