> Mayflower Group’s brand-new web platform offers fluid access to bookings of latest air tickets, accommodations, and transportation

- MARION FERNANDO

WITH the vast majority of the population leading busy lives with jam-packed schedules, it’s no wonder that having a travel specialist take care of all your planning needs is not only considered a treat by some, but also a blessing.

Mayflower Group aims to take the pain out of our planning with the launch of its brand-new web platform, Mayflower.com.my, recently.

The website was officially launched by Mayflower Group chief executive officer Chin Ten Hoy, together with Mayflower Online chief technology officer Cheah Kwan Cheong as well as other Mayflower executives.

Also present was Khairolnizam Saad, the senior principal secretary of the Tourism Policy and International Affair Division in the Ministry of Tourism and Culture.

The Mayflower’s new website, with its partnerships with other industry affiliates, aims to guarantee the best deals for guests who book through the platform, corresponding to their needs, whether by air, land or sea.

Designed with the consumer’s ease of mind, the user-friendly interface is accompanied by high definition pictures of top-rated hotels and attractions, while allowing fluid access to bookings, as well as bundles for the latest air tickets, accommodations, and transportation.

Chin elaborates: “Moving forward, Mayflower.com.my will expand its offerings further by including airport transfer, cruises, and rail passes. We will also continue to offer more special interest packages such as golf and dive holidays.”

By creating an online presence, the group is following the global trend of businesses merging seamlessly with technology to cater to a tech-savvy crowd, paving the way for Malaysia’s tourism industry to reach greater heights.

Chin also unveiled that a Mayflower mobile application with real-time capabilities is in the works.

It is expected to be released soon for greater user experience, enabling customers to manage bookings without leaving the same platform.

To mark the momentous occasion, the Mayflower Group also organised a Mayflower Travel Carnival last weekend at Mid Valley Megamall, consisting of fun activities plus more discounts on flights and hotels.

In addition, this complete travel provider is running a five-month-long contest till March 31 next year for customers who make a booking through the Mayflower website.

The ‘Buy, Travel, & Win (#BTW) contest is offering rewards worth a total of RM288,888 – including luxury holidays as well as a grand prize of a Renault Captur, courtesy of TC Euro Cars – for lucky customers.
