The philanthropic arm of AirAsia Group – AirAsia Foundation, recently launched its social enterprise pop-up shop at klia2. Called “Destination:GOOD”, the store retails thoughtfully selected gift items, over 200 sustainably-produced products, from social enterprises across 25 Asean countries.

Ranging from organic produce, stationery items, accessories and home decor products from Malaysian Unity of Cultures (MUOC), Bingka KL, Batik Boutique, Selaka Kotagede, Rags2Riches, Folkcharm, Zo Project, etc. AirAsia Foundation executive director Yap Mun Ching mentioned that this endeavour, in partnership with Malaysia Airports, provides an international platform for the social enterprises to expand their business. “The opening of the store also marks Asean’s 50th anniversary in a meaningful way,” Yap added.
