Ronaldo wants out

> Striker tells Flotentino he’s not happy at Real Madrid

-

CRISTIANO RONALDO isn’t happy at Real Madrid and has told club president Florentino Perez he wants to leave.

That’s according to La Liga expert Guillem Balague.

The Portuguese star’s future at the Bernabeu made all the headlines in the summer as he pushed for a move away from the Spanish capital.

Ronaldo (pix) was said to be frustrated by a lack of support from the club he received and the allegations he was subjected to from the press after being accused of tax fraud.

The former Manchester United star ended up staying at Los Blancos but his frustrations have continued on the pitch – scoring just one La Liga goal all season.

And Balague says Ronaldo is still keen on a fresh start somewhere else.

Asked if recent reports of the 32-year-old wanting to leave were true, Balague told Sky Sports: “Yes he has told Real and Florentino Perez he wants to leave.

“He is again upset, like in the summer, this time because he feels he is not being protected or loved enough by the club.

“But the Madrid president said there was no chance of him leaving, you have a € 1bn buyout clause. So there is no chance of Ronaldo being allowed to go.

“Also, the club say there have been no offers for the player in the last 12 months.”

With Ronaldo’s future uncertain, Perez is already thought to be looking at signing another Galactico in the summer.

The likes of Chelsea’s Eden Hazard and Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann have been linked, while Balague doesn’t think Tottenham star Harry Kane is their priority.

“Real have not decided yet what they will do with their Galaticos, but they have put feelers out about Griezmann and Eden Hazard,” Balague added.

“Harry Kane is a different case – while Cristiano is there, they do not see him as being a partner for him, and also Kane has said he does not want to leave Spurs.

“So in my eyes, I see a centreforward arriving, but one approved by Ronaldo and who feeds the player.

“Robert Lewandowski is another who would like to go to Real, although it is still early days.” – ExpressSport
