Allianz goes above and beyond

-

AFTER making a RM50,000 donation to Malaysia International Search and Rescue (Misar) towards distribution of relief items in Penang and Bukit Mertajam, Allianz Malaysia Berhad (Allianz) went the extra mile by stepping up its services to the benefit of its home and vehicle policy holders who were affected by the floods.

From faster claims negotiations and waiving stipulations – Allianz General’s Claims Caravan ( pix) is now stationed in Penang to assist.

According to Allianz CEO Zakri Khir, Allianz eligible motor and home insurance policyholders whose vehicles and homes have been affected by the flood can file their claims at the caravan. Adjusters will then be assigned to survey the affected chattels before expediting the claims process.

“We are also providing all Allianz customers who lodge flood claims at the caravan with a waterproof survival kit, complete with blanket, towels, first aid kit and torch light,” Zakri said, adding it is a small gesture to afford additional support and comfort to its customers going through this catastrophe.

Allianz advises victims to contact their claims personnel as soon as possible or call its 24-hour hotline at 03-4270 3951/017-450 2288, to find out the location of its claims caravan. There are exemptions and offers the company is awarding its flood victim customers up north.
