BUBBLY, refreshing, and a hue too pretty to not Instagram, your go-to cider brand Somersby recently unveiled an exclusive new flavour – the Sparkling Rosé – with Malaysia being the first country in Asia and fifth in the world after Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Sweden to experience this elegant refreshment.

Unlike its sweeter sister variants, the Somersby Sparkling Rosé has a more refined semisweet taste of apple rosé cider with a flirty flavour of red berries on the palate, reminiscent of a chilled glass of sparkling wine.

A sip of the luscious lightpink liquid leaves a fruity and fresh taste in the mouth, making this alcoholic beverage the perfect alternative to wine, champagne or cocktails to celebrate this festive season, ring in the new year, or toast to your loved one on Valentines Day.

Carlsberg Malaysia managing director Lars Lehmann officially unveiled the stunning new drink at the launch in Kuala Lumpur recently.

Bottles of the Somersby Sparkling Rosé were then served to guests all decked out in accordance to the 50 Shades of Pink theme that night.

Lehmann said: “Somersby has upheld the best-selling cider reputation in Malaysia by always bringing consumers new excitement and experiences through its various offerings,

“Today, we are thrilled to introduce Somersby Sparkling Rosé to Malaysian consumers, a liquid that is perfect for the festive celebrations and works great as an after-work drink with friends or an accompaniment to light meals.”

For a limited six-month period only, head over to your nearest leading hypermarkets or supermarkets in Peninsular Malaysia, where you can treat yourself to a pack of four 330ml bottles, or a two-bottle pack sold only at 7-Eleven convenience stores.

Additionally, you can try the effervescent grown-up beverage at Somersby sampling events, taking place at leading restaurants, concept bars, and major hypermarkets and supermarkets, from now till February next year.
