MANAGEMENT and Science University (MSU) has launched the Jump$tart programme for its past and present entrepreneurial students. It will involve RM5 million in seeding fund to help students turn their entrepreneurial ideas into sustainable businesses.

Facilitated by the MSU Leadership and Entrepreneurship Advancement Institute (LEAD), the programme is designed to carry entrepreneurial ideas through to realisation and sustainability.

From ideation to formation and growth to maturity, Jump$tarters will be guided and coached in the administration and risk management of their businesses. They are provided with full access to all of the programme’s incubator facilities, networking opportunities and professional expertise.

For its comprehensive entrepreneurial ecosystem spanning the breadth of its academic disciplines, MSU won the Most Entrepreneurial Private University 2016 Award from the Ministry of Higher Education.

The Jump$tart programme was launched in conjunction with the joint Finance, Investment and Accounting Colloquium Series and Business Management and Entrepreneurship Conference 2017.

The 21 pioneer batch of Jump$tarters are from MSU’s Faculty of Business Management and Professional Studies, Faculty of Information Sciences and Engineering, International Medical School, School of Hospitality and Creative Arts and School of Education and Social Sciences.
