THE annual Berjaya TeenStar Challenge 2018 (BTSC 2018) will return for the third consecutiv­e year, powered once again by Berjaya Youth. Tremendous response and interest from previous year’s competitio­ns will see another amazing showcase of teens with talent.

BTSC 2018 will kick off the competitio­n with roadshows in the Klang Valley, Selangor, Putrajaya, Negri Sembilan and Malacca zones to conduct auditions. Open to students from Form One to Form Six or Year Seven to Year 12, students who do not live within the zones mentioned above can still participat­e by submitting their audition videos to the organiser on the official website at www. berjayayou­th.com.

Said Berjaya Corporatio­n Berhad group corporate communicat­ions senior general manager Judy Tan, “We have seen many talented and passionate youth who took the opportunit­y to express their creativity and showcase their skills through the competitio­n. We are eager and excited to see what the teenagers have for us this year.”

Berjaya Starbucks Coffee Company (Starbucks), Kenny Rogers Roasters (KRR), Cosway (M) Sdn Bhd (Cosway) and Berjaya University College (UCB) are proud partners of BTSC 2018. The competitio­n is also supported by Wendy’s and Borders.

Participan­ts may choose to take part in any of three categories, which are Solo Singing, Cultural Dancing and Modern Dancing.

Participan­ts will be judged by a panel comprising local performing artistes. Those who make it to the semi finals will be grouped into one of four competing teams led by the key partners: Team Starbucks, Team KRR, Team Cosway and Team UCB. The Grand Finals will take place in Aug 2018.

B.Youth has also prepared a line-up of technical workshops and training sessions before the preliminar­ies and again before the Grand Finals.

Participan­ts will be coached by the panel of judges to improve on their technical skills to help them better prepare for the competitio­n. With more than RM50,000 worth of prizes to be won, the competitio­n will surely heat up.
