Kiss me all over
LIPSTICK fans rejoice – make-up magnate Kat Von D has revamped and relaunched her signature “Studded Kiss Crème Lipstick” collection.
The celebrity tattoo artist and beauty entrepreneur has updated the collection’s formula and is offering the range in 40 different colours in three different finishes – “satin matte”, “glimmer”, and “metallic”. The collection includes best-sellers and fan-favourites, as well as 21 all-new hues, such as “White Out” – an opaque white shade designed to be used as a base or for mixing customised shades.
The new formula, which is 100% vegan, cruelty free and more highly pigmented than the original, is accompanied by a new bullet casing inspired by the black studs on Von D’s favourite cuff bracelet.
The beauty mogul stars in the campaign for her new collection, which is dubbed “Kiss Me All Over”, and sees her modelling several of the range’s vibrant colours simultaneously. “I love collaborating with Kat on ideas for campaigns, so when she approached me with the idea of lipsticks all over her face, my first thought was that I was going to have to kiss her... A LOT,” said Kat Von D Beauty Artistry Collective Artist Tara Buenrostro, who was behind the fun shoot. In fact, Buenrostro explains that she created custom stencils and filled them in with different shades from the collection, “to truly showcase the amazing colour range, intense pigmentation and colour payoff to give Kat the perfect, Studded Kiss Me All Over look.” – AFP
