LIKE it or not, in the real world, a paper qualification from abroad, especially of a renowned university, carries more weight than a local one. But with the escalating costs of living, studying abroad is tough on parents’ pockets.
With that, IDP Education Limited Malaysia (IDP Education Malaysia), a student placement service provider has organised an exhibition called the “IDP Study Abroad Exhibition” here in Malaysia, to provide parents and students with information and options on opportunities for study beyond Malaysian shores.
Over 50 prestigious institutions from Australia, UK, and New Zealand will be participating in this annual event. Seminars, dialogues and informative talks have been arranged, and will be presented by informed and experienced parties and university representatives.
Students and parents will be able to speak with representatives from participating universities to discuss details on study options abroad.
Expect in-depth insights on specific fields of study, information on institutions, as well as useful tips and guidelines such as visa processes, pre-departure and planning.
Guests can explore a host of education opportunities as interesting topics covering scholarships and course selections across medicine and pharmacy, architecture and design, business, engineering and others, will be discussed.
IDP Education Malaysia counsellors will also be on hand to assist students on application procedures and requirements. Those rooted on an education abroad are advised to bring all their transcripts and relevant documents for on-the-spot applications.
The IDP Study Abroad Education March 2018 exhibition takes place this March 1 to 12 and offers study opportunities in seven major cities. The exhibition will run in Kuala Lumpur on March 2, 9 and 10, and Johor Baru, Penang, Ipoh, Kuching and Kota Kinabalu on other dates. Attendance is free but pre-registration is required via www.idp.com/malaysia.

Mar 2 – 2pm to 4pm – Australian institutions
