> Khind displays an array of innovative products that improve air quality
THE earliest fans were invented thousands of years ago and we have come a long way from the days where fans adorned the steel frame. Today there are a variety of innovative indoor products to boost air quality that caters to every household need. Khind has been in Malaysia for more than 56 years, and they have been developing and manufacturing an array of products from general fans to industrial fans.
One of the brand’s well-known fan wseries is the Winter Snow which features colourful transparent fan blades that are stylish-looking with a snowy white base.

Aesthetics aside, the Winter Snow series is equally outstanding in terms of its performance. The fans are equipped with a built-in safety thermal fuse and three-speed control that allows you to choose your desired wind speed.
If you are particularly attentive to saving energy, the Khind Ceiling Fan CF 611 is awarded with a five-star energy efficiency standard. It also has the built-in safety thermal fuse and comes with a five-speed electronic regulator as well as a three-year warranty on motor and outdoor service.
The Khind Box Fan BF 12S flaunts a slim design with an integrated handle which allows you to easily move it around when you need to. Its oscillating louvre enables air to be distributed evenly, and comes with a two-hour timer and threespeed control.
The new kid on the block is the Khind Tower Fan FD 301R that displays a sleek design with a soft touch panel complete with a remote control.
This model can oscillate at a 50-degree angle and comes with a three-speed setting, three-mode selection and eight-hour timer. The best part is it comes with motor overheat protection and a detachable air filter for ease in cleaning.
Khind also offers a range of air moving products including air coolers. This model covers an area between 15 and 20sqm, and is not just an air cooler, it is also an ioniser which improves air quality in a room, making air fresher. It offers vertical and horizontal swing, and comes with a remote control. This model has a two-year warranty and outdoor service.
The other two models in this air cooler series, the EAC 600 and EAC 400, are more compact models which come in a six-litre and four-litre water tank capacity and covers an area up to 10sqm and 15sqm respectively.
Air coolers aside, Khind also offers mist fans. The Khind Mist Fan MF 161 features an easy-to-use control panel, 90-degree auto horizontal oscillation and individual wind speed and mist volume control.
The Mist Fan MF 160R, on the other hand, features a digital LED control panel, remote control, room temperature indicator, timer setting, eight-speed control and four modes (eco, normal, natural and sleep).
