> HELP Academy offers University of London programmes

-

HELP Academy, under the aegis of the HELP University Group, has been offering University of London (UOL) programmes since 1986. With a proud track record of over 1,500 graduates, the academy is the pioneer provider of UOL programmes and is recognised by the UOL as a key player in the region. This is evident from its graduates who have made distinguished careers of their professions across the globe.

Students who enrol in any of the UOL programmes can expect to be part of an iconic, world-renowned institution. With experience in offering courses all over the world for over a hundred years, UOL students have exposure, recording more than 50,000 students as part of a global fraternity across 170 countries. These students form a dedicated group of individuals who not only excel in their studies, but also engage in inspiring and thought-provoking talks on current topics such as climate change and multiculturalism.

The academic direction of the UOL programmes are provided by The London School of Economics, a globally renowned academic institution. HELP Academy advocates this aim and approach through its social sciences courses such as economics, management, accounting, finance and banking. While Degree courses can be completed in Kuala Lumpur over three years, students have the choice of transferring to other universities in the UK in their second year.

HELP Academy has also added the UOL Foundation course to its portfolio three years ago. This course runs across 43 weeks and covers four subjects.

Both the Degree and Foundation courses have many unique features. Firstly, the syllabus is developed by academics at the University of London UK. The examinations are also set and graded by the same institution, maintaining quality assurance. Moreover, the courses are entirely examinationbased and are conducted once a year, usually in May.

The UOL programmes are also part of a supportive ecosystem where high quality materials and a comprehensive Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) are provided. Students get access to past examination papers and examiners’ reports, and have direct access to UOL’s online library. As part of the preparation for students in their final exams, HELP Academy conducts mock examinations.

Over the years, UOL students have achieved outstanding results with many graduating with First Class Honours. Of these, many have progressed to postgraduate degree courses in outstanding institutions such as Cambridge, LSE and Wharton School of Business. The graduates are also sought after by major corporations such as large professional service firms, IBM, MIDF and investment banks, both locally and internationally.

HELP Academy has a dedicated department for UOL programmes.
