Fujifilm’s best shooter in X Series

-

FUJIFILM Malaysia has launched what it called the highestperformance camera in the X Series range of mirrorless cameras. The X-H1 is focused on capturing fast-moving objects in any condition.

“The Fujifilm X-H1 is meant for professionals or serious photographers and videographers who normally shoot fast-moving events such as sport, news, fashion, commercial, motorsport, and wildlife, just to name a few,” said Fujifilm Malaysia managing director Yoshitaka Nakamura.

The X-H1 is made to meet professional requirements with a sturdier and more robust body and construction.

It is the first camera in the X series to include the latest fiveaxis in-body image stabilisation (IBIS) which has a maximum of 5.5 stops (with XF 35mm F1.4 lens attached).

It is also the first in the X series that comes with flicker reduction mode and improved auto-focus (AF) algorithm to boost shooting performance, especially for indoor sports photography.

The X-H1 does this by allowing stable exposure during burst shots under fluorescent and mercury lighting.

Another first for the X series is Eterna, a new film simulation feature that is designed for shooting videos with a cinematic feel. It leverages Fujifilm image quality into the motion picture field.

Eterna simulates cinematic film by creating understated colours and rich shadow tones. This is combined with the X-H1’s ability to record at a high bit rate of 200Mbps.

Now available at all Fujifilm Wonder Photo Shop and prominent reseller outlets nationwide, the X-H1 Body is priced at RM7,988 while the X-H1 with battery grip kit is priced at RM9,188. – Azizul Rahman Ismail
