Hotel Transylvania 3 sailing in

-

DRACULA departs on a cruise and in search of his sister in the trailer for the third animated Hotel Transylvania movie.

Determined to leave behind an eternal solitude, Dracula commits to a new season of activity in tracking down his little sister.

Encouraged to reject the algorithms of his phone’s voice assistant and the mismatches of monsters’ dating app Zingr, Dracula is packed off on a cruise ship voyage in the company of his daughter, Mavis.

“It’s not a love boat,” he says, but soon finds himself enchanted not just by the sights and sounds of holiday time, but the ship’s captain, Erika.

Little does he know that Erika is descended from a long line of legendary monster hunters and the cruise ship is little more than an elaborate trap for her unsuspecting, fun-loving quarry.

Directed as always by cartoonist and franchise creator Genndy Tartakovsky for Sony Pictures Animation, Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation is due out on July 13 in the US.

Australia and New Zealand are currently slated to receive the movie a whole month early on June 14 while Brazil, Singapore, Vietnam, and Russia are expected to receive it more or less alongside the US release.

The first film in the franchise was released in 2012 and accumulated US$358 million (RM1.38 billion) worldwide, with Hotel Transylvania 2 arriving in 2015 to the tune of US$473 million (RM1.83 billion) ringing in global box-office registers. – AFP-Relaxnews
