Rashford considering exit due to Mourinho
MARCUS RASHFORD is growing unhappy with Jose Mourinho after continuously being placed on the bench.
The Manchester United youngster earned his place in the firstteam during Louis van Gaal’s time at the club. And during Mourinho’s first season at the club, Rashford still found gametime easy to come by.
But after the arrival of Alexis Sanchez, the academy graduate has had to settle for longer periods on the bench.
Rashford hasn’t started for United since the Champions League defeat against Sevilla. And if Mourinho doesn’t leave the club, the attacker may be forced to leave Old Trafford.
“Marcus was really unhappy with being left out for the derby,” a source told the Daily Mirror.
“If Mourinho is still there next season, Marcus might not be, as he wants to start every game.”
Rashford will be keen to play regularly towards the end of the season ahead of this summer’s World Cup.
Gareth Southgate has revealed the 20-year-old will definitely be on the plane to Russia in June. And Rashford started the away clash against the Neth- erlands last month.
