Walking comfortably
RENOWNED Danish footwear manufacturer, ECCO unveiled its refurbished store in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur along with the launch of its Spring/Summer ‘ 18 collection recently.
Founded in 1963 by Jarl Toosbuy in an obscure town of Bredebro in Denmark, he believes that “the shoe must follow the foot” and not the other way round. ECCO constantly creates shoes that are more comfortable and long lasting which enables people to move naturally.
More than 50 years have gone by and ECCO is still under the watchful guidance of the Toosbuy family in managing every aspect of the value chain.
From rawhide to retail stores, more than 350 million pairs of ECCO shoes have walked the earth to date, proving the company’s claim to be true in delivering uncompromised quality and relentless pursuit of style at sensible price points.
These values are reflected
THE recurring H&M Conscious Exclusive collection showcases the increasing possibilities of sustainable fashion with a focus on development and innovation.
“It is a great thrill to introduce two new sustainable materials into the collection. By creating gorgeous lace made of ECONYL®, we continue to stretch the boundaries of sustainable fashion,” says Ann-Sofie Johansson, creative advisor at H&M.
Nonetheless, this year H&M introduces two new materials, recycled silver as well as ECONYL® – a 100% regenerated nylon fibre made from fishnets and other nylon waste, along with TENCEL™, recycled polyester, organic linen, organic cotton and organic silk.
Drawing inspiration from the creative home of the 19th and early 20th-century Swed- in its latest collection spanning across four series, featuring the ECCO COOL 2.0, CREPETRAY, SHAPE and VITRUS collection.
With seasonal trends at the forefront of all new ranges, the introduction of COOL 2.0 bridges the gap between performance and style, CREPETRAY combines heritage and innovation, SHAPE makes heels that look as good as it feels. The VITRUS does away with many of the compromises associated with traditional Brogues. From business t o outdoor and wal k i n g shoes, women are able to enjoy a variety of formal footwear, casual sandals to outdoor trainers that suit any distinct style.
Men, on the contrary, are able to choose from formal slip-ons, everyday casual laceups to outdoor sandals for a nice day out.
