MMA 2018 calls for entries
THE Malaysian Media Awards (MMA) is ready to receive entries for its 14th consecutive awards.
Since initiation in 2005, MMA has charted the growth and evolution of the media and advertising industry in resonating with consumers. Its most coveted award – “Agency of the Year” – has gone to a number of advertising juggernauts including Carat, GroupM and Universal McCann.
MMA 2018 reported that it will retain its entry system, which was implemented in last year’s edition, keeping with a total of 14 categories. The judging panel will comprise of local industry leaders, who will evaluate entries based on merit, integrity and performance.
Vizeum Malaysia managing director Chinar Joshi (pix) will chair this year’s edition, sitting as the MMA chairpman, while Mindshare Malaysia managing director Cindy Cheah will take on the MMA deputy chairperson’s seat.
“The MMA has always been a great platform for the entire Malaysian media industry to come together and celebrate some of the best work we have done in the past year,” said Joshi.
“2017 was a challenging year for the industry as a whole, which drove us to push the boundaries of media to rise to the challenge.
