SONY ASIA recently opened the first Sony Extra Bass Lifestyle Concept Store in Southeast Asia, at Sunway Pyramid in Bandar Sunway.
The store will carry the full range of Extra Bass branded audio products and the exclusive premiums to go along with them. These include T-shirts and caps done in partnership with Pestle & Mortar.
Located in the mall’s Asia Avenue on the first floor, the Extra Bass Lifestyle Concept Store
not only displays but also lets patrons experience each product for themselves.
The store will also function as a central information hub for concerts and musical events in the region.
In conjunction with the new store, Sony Malaysia also officially launched its new Extra Bass wireless speakers in Malaysia. The series of speakers consists of three models – the SRS-XB41, SRS-XB31, and SRS-XB21.
All three Extra Bass wireless speakers are designed to be tough, waterproof, and engineered for the deep, punchy bass found in music genres such as EDM, grime, and hip hop.
The main differences among the three speakers are the size and lighting features.
The SRS-XB21 is the smallest at 530g and features a simple lighting feature, while the SRSXB31 weighs 890g and features multi-coloured lighting with strobe flashing.
The largest, the SRS-XB41, weighs in at 1.5kg and has speaker lights, multi-coloured line lights, and strobe flashing.
The SRS-XB41, SRS-XB31, and SRS-XB21 will be available from tomorrow onwards. – Azizul Rahman Ismail
