Good hygiene, worry-free Raya

-

DURING the Hari Raya celebration, there will be countless exchanges of good wishes and gifts among family members and friends. Keep the love and conversations flowing and eliminate the danger of contacting contagious diseases by practising good hygiene.

Dettol, like any mother, is committed to safeguarding one’s hygiene during this joyful celebration with its hand hygiene awareness roadshow at 20 selected rest and relaxation venues (R&R stops) throughout Peninsular Malaysia.

Travellers who make a pit-stop at any of these locations will find Dettol representatives ready to spread awareness on effective ways to clean their hands through seven simple steps. Bottles of Dettol Liquid Hand Wash will also be provided at nearby sinks so that all can practise the steps right away and keep their hands clean.

Besides providing a learning experience, Dettol representatives will be handing out product samples to bring along on the journey.

“On their long balik kampung trip this Raya, travellers will stop at R&R stations for short breaks to refresh. I understand that families might need to spend six to 12 hours in the car in order to reach their hometowns in the East Coast from Kuala Lumpur,” said Dettol Malaysia and Singapore brand manager Ena Abas.

“Thus, the few minutes we spend washing our hands go a long way to safeguard ourselves and our loved ones from germs. Dettol hopes to bring this message to as many Malaysians as we can to encourage the people to practise good hygiene habits in order to have a worry-free Raya and share more special moments together.”

Dettol’s Ramadan campaign, titled “Stay Protected, Goodness Shared” runs until June 30. Shoppers will be rewarded with a RM5 voucher for every RM25 spent on Dettol products in a single receipt. A percentage of profits from sales will go towards charitable organisations. For more information, visit Dettol Malaysia’s Facebook page.
