Experience a whole new world

- BY JASON LIM

NERDUNIT is no stranger to the streetwear scene in Malaysia – a name that has once again introduced a new lease of life for the storied heritage brand that pivots around the lifestyle of the military; where style is simplistic yet bold.

The expansion of its second concept store located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur in Pavilion KL was unveiled alongside its “ByYou” collection – marking it as one of Nerdunit’s three concept stores after the first in Tokyo namely the “Future Store”, and its third – the “Playground Store” in Subang Jaya will soon be revamped to serve as an interactive concept store.

Upon entering the concept store in Pavilion KL dubbed as the “Experience Store”, patrons are immediately welcomed by the industrial and futuristic interpretation of Nerdunit’s heritage.

Its interior is defined by a complex yet artistic cage-like anatomy of wireframes sitting next to an intricate rail travelator system with two television screens on both sides; looping Nerdunit’s past collection, hoping to transport viewers into the past, present and future of Nerdunit.

Deep within the store lies a huge semi-transparent capsule and right there, is the star of the “Experience Store” exclusively available in Pavilion KL. Avid fans alike of the brand are able to design a one-ofa-kind Nerdunit shirt at its customisation bar and witness the design come to life in no more than 20 minutes.

The ability to express your personal style through a shirt has never been this convenient and accessible. As the “ByYou” collection suggests, the casual, freespirited collection celebrates individuality and self-expression with its highly customisation experience.

?? ?? The Nerdunit ‘Experience Store” in Pavilion KL prides itself for its highly customisation bar. It also offers the Nerdunit ‘ByYou’ collection and World Cup edition jerseys.
