JCI M’sia award closes on June 30

-

PETALING JAYA: JCI Malaysia is calling for companies to vie for the 2018 JCI Malaysia Sustainable Development Award (JCIM SDA) to promote their efforts in meeting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG).

JCIM SDA organising chairman Mikasa Chong said the award also aims to raise public awareness on the UNSDG and inspire the new generation to advance these global goals.

“The UNSDG is a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that everyone can enjoy peace and prosperity,” she said.

“Hence, the elements of the five pillars for the JClM SDA trophy are linked to the 5Ps of United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals – People, Planet, Prosperity, Partnership and Peace.”

The award is to recognise sustainable projects conducted by Malaysian companies and organisations, which advanced any of the UNSDG.

Nominations close on June 30. Entries should be submitted online at www.jcimsda.com where 40 finalists will be shortlisted.

For more details, call the nomination director at +6017-688 1300 or Mikasa at +6017-313 4133.
