Alexander Zverev is the face of Z Zegna

ITALIAN label Z Zegna has revealed German tennis player Alexander Zverev as the new face of the brand. The news was announced at the Pitti Uomo 94 menswear trade show in Florence, Italy. The Ermenegildo Zegna group's chic and avant-garde Z Zegna line has signed up the tennis player Alexander Zverev as its first brand ambassador. The current world number three, behind Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, who is just 21 years old, will front the new Z Zegna collection, also presented at Pitti Uomo. "I am unbelievably happy and proud to announce my new partnership with one of the oldest and most historical Italian fashion brand [Ermenegildo Zegna]. I am also very happy to be the face of the new Z Zegna collection ...," Zverev wrote on Instagram.

At this year's French Open at Roland-Garros, which concluded June 10, Alexander Zverev was defeated in the quarter-finals by Dominic Thiem. Note that this isn't the German player's first gig with a luxury brand, as he was previously named as an ambassador for Richard Mille watches in 2016. – AFP Relaxnews
