A ROAR-ing start to World Cup fever

-

TIGER BEER has arranged a series of football viewing parties for the World Cup, with the first one featuring the opening match between Saudi Arabia and Russia on the night of June 14 at The Beer Factory in Sunway Giza, Selangor.

Guests got to watch the match on large screens as well as played games, received special giveaways, and of course, enjoyed ice-cold Tiger Beer.

Tiger Beer Malaysia marketing manager Pearly Lim said: “Football has always been at the core of Tiger Beer. We are taking this opportunity to create a connection between fans who have an unwavering passion for football, who gather to celebrate the sport while having our brew.

“The next few weeks will be dedicated to our loyal fans who wish to be part of an epic football viewing experience, while being rewarded with attractive giveaways.”

At the viewing party, the Tiger Beer ROAR machine kept the fun rolling, as guests were asked to strike their fiercest pose and roar to have a photo taken, which they could then post to Instagram, or to kick a ball through a mini goal, and earn themselves a free bottle of Tiger Beer.

Guests were also challenged to a trivia on all things football, for a chance at taking home a cute Tiger football mini fridge, or Tiger Beer football jersey.

There were also exclusive gift redemptions with points collected through QR codes given with each purchase of Tiger Beer. The QR codes can be scanned in the TigerMy app.

Consumers can collect points throughout the tournament in exchange for autographed memorabilia like jerseys, photo frames, football boots, and balls.

Fans can also score a twomonth subscription to www. dimsum.my, and win more merchandise when they buy three big bottles of Tiger Beer at participating food courts and coffee shops, or one six-can pack at selected stores nationwide.
