Avoid eyeshadow fallout
ANYONE who has dabbled in eyeshadow knows how easily it can go wrong. One false move and the powder can quickly fall below the eye – all over your carefully applied concealer.
And there’s not much you can do about it – if you try to wipe away these pesky crumbs, you will probably only end up making it worse, creating catastrophic smudges.
To avoid this blip in your make-up routine all together, German make-up artist Patrick Maldinger says less is more. He advises taking only a small amount of eyeshadow on the applicator, so that it’s less likely to crumble off.
Better to apply a second layer if needed than to use an overloaded brush in the first strokes, he says.
Maldinger also says brushes and applicators should be handled gently when you are applying the product. – dpa
