‘Hot’ number 9393 sold out

PETALING JAYA: Punters made a beeline for outlets of four-digit betting game operators to place bets on the number 9393, that was sold out yesterday.

The “hot” number was derived from Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s age. He turned 93 a day earlier. His wife, Tun Dr Siti Hasmah, turns 92 today.

Another hot number that was actively wagered on was 9392, that was based on the couple’s age.
