CALL TO BRING BACK SABAH PADI BOARD

KOTA KINABALU: A social activist has called on the state government to bring back the Sabah Padi Board (LPS) to address the problems faced by padi farmers in the state. Datuk Patrick Sindu claimed that the padi management in Sabah became disorganised since LPS was disbanded. “Since it was disbanded, farmers often faced problems especially involving drainage and infrastructure which affect padi fields. – Bernama
